Chaka is a male lion. He is the son of Simba and Nala, and the brother of Shani. He is a member of Simba's pride and the prince of Pride Rock.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Chaka was born to Simba and Nala. He had a sister, Shani.[1]
Cubhood[]
During a lesson with Zazu, Chaka begged to hear the story of the great war. Though Zazu was initially reluctant to indulge Chaka, he gave in when Chaka called him a "hero." Later, Chaka was play-fighting with his sister, Shani, when he got swarmed by grubs. He reacted with disgust, then proceeded to chase Shani.[1]
Personality and traits[]
Chaka is energetic and playful. He is also quite clever, as he stroked Zazu's ego in order to get him to tell a story.[1]

- Chaka's name means "bush, tree clump, thicket" or "hot season (December to February)" in Swahili.[2]
