Who was that? And why did he throw rocks at us?
―Cek on Beshte[src]

Cek is a male mountain goat. He is a member of a flock of mountain goats in the Tree of Life's territory.

Beshte the hippopotamus earned a bad reputation due to inadvertently causing many accidents around the Tree of Life. In one such incident, he caused rocks to fall, which nearly knocked Cek and his friend, Rama, off a cliff. The two, along with several other animals, appealed to Baliyo for help. Later, Beshte saved Pinguino's life, and he in turn cleared Beshte's name.

One day, Makucha's army attacked the Tree of Life's animal residents, including Cek. However, the Lion Guard arrived in time to save them.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Cek lived in a mountainous region of the Tree of Life's territory.[1]

Poa the Destroyer[]

Sorry, but we need to talk to the Night Pride. Right away.
―Cek[src]

Cek was climbing up and down a cliff face when Beshte approached and accidentally rained down rocks on him and his friend, Rama. Cek barely jumped to safety in time and wondered why Beshte had thrown rocks at him.

Cek escapes

Cek and Rama barely escape Beshte's falling rocks.

The animals who were victims of Beshte's mistakes, including Cek, ran into one another and resolved to report the incidents to the Night Pride. Pinguino mistakenly called Beshte "Poa the Destroyer" due to his frequent catchphrase. The animals reported on Beshte to Baliyo, describing him as a monster as tall as the Tree of Life who was on a path of destruction.

Later, when Beshte revisited the mountain goats, Cek acted evasively, as he did not want to offend the hippopotamus.

Shortly afterward, the Lion Guard brought the animals to the Tree of Life to reconcile them with Beshte. There, Pinguino cleared Beshte's name, after which Cek joined in on a celebratory chant for Beshte.[1]

Janna's death[]

Cek gathered with other animals outside the Tree of Life as its queen, Janna, lay dying. When Makini announced that Janna had passed on, Cek reacted with sadness. He later attended her funeral.[2]

Battle for the Tree of Life[]

When Makucha and his allies invaded the Tree of Life, they chased Cek and Rama, only to be driven off by the Lion Guard. Later, Cek was attacked by Makucha's army at the Tree of Life. However, the Lion Guard and the Night Pride saved him and the other animals.[3]

Kion's coronation[]

Cek attended Kion and Rani's wedding.[4]

Physical appearance[]

Cek is a moderately sized mountain goat. He is distinguished by his brown fur, which is considerably darker than those of his flock members. He has curved brown horns, a goatee, and a slight hump on his back. His eyes are brown.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Cek is easily spooked, as he believed Beshte to be a terrifying monster. However, once Beshte's name was cleared by Pinguino, Cek easily forgave him and joined in on a celebratory cheer for him.[1]
