Buzz (also known as Old Fearless Buzz) was a male meerkat. He was a member of Timon's colony.
In an effort to break the meerkat lifestyle of hiding, Buzz took on a hyena in physical combat. However, the hyena's pack arrived and killed him. Afterward, his sacrifice was commemorated by his colony through paintings and a ballad.

Early life[]
Buzz was a member of Timon's colony. He and his fellow meerkats lived in constant fear of hyenas.[1]
Death[]
One day, Buzz got fed up with being bullied by the hyenas and decided to fight back. He took on a hyena single-handedly, but died when the hyena's pack showed up and overwhelmed him.[1]
Legacy[]
As the meerkats worked to build underground tunnels, they sang "Old Fearless Buzz", during which they commemorated Buzz's bravery and sacrifice. Nearby, paintings of Buzz decorated the tunnel walls.[1]

Buzz was a tall and muscular meerkat. He was exceptionally strong, being able to take on a hyena in physical combat.[1]
