• Although Lebo M has new vocals for the song, the chorus is the same recording from the end credits of the film.
• Different variations of the song are frequently heard throughout The Lion King, such as:

• • Towards the end of "Under the Stars."
  • When Simba runs across the desert.
  • When Simba becomes King.
  • The beginning of the end credits.
• The song can also be heard in the stage musical during the "Grasslands Chant," as well as the finale song, "King of Pride Rock."
• Another variation of the song is heard in The Lion King 1½, when Pumbaa is running across the desert, parodying Simba's run in the original film.
