"Brother Betrayed" is the seventh and last of seven songs heard in ''Mufasa: The Lion King''. It begins immediately after "[[Tell Me It's You]]", with [[Scar (reboot)|Taka]] witnessing [[Mufasa (reboot)|Mufasa's]] romantic interactions with [[Sarabi (reboot)|Sarabi]] from a ridge above them. Heartbroken and enraged, he runs through the snow alone, reflecting on what he perceives as Mufasa's betrayal. Halfway through singing the last word of the song, "outrun," he falls down a snowy slope, and the song briefly pauses. Upon reaching the bottom of the slope, he looks back up the mountain and finishes the lyric.<ref name="MTLK">{{Cite film|Mufasa: The Lion King}}</ref>
