Brond is a male lion. He is the king who preceded Mruki. He is the mate of Sheena, with whom he has a son, Rego.
Initially, Brond led a pride of lions who lived in the Dark Continent. However, when a young male named Mruki defeated him in battle, Brond was forced to flee and live with two of his old friends. Eventually, his son Rego found him, and he and his friends taught the young lion how to fight. This allowed Rego to defeat Mruki and become the king of his former pride.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Brond lived in the Dark Continent. He was the king of a pride of lions who ruled the territory via a monarchy system. He took Sheena as his mate, and the two had a son, Rego.[1]
Hunting[]
Brond's pride succeeded in obtaining a kill. As the king of the pride, Brond took the first bite, much to the annoyance of a young male named Mruki.[1]
Mruki's exile[]
One day, Brond and his pride commenced their annual trek to the north, as they were following the herds. Along the way, Mruki defied the pride's Laws of Precedence by eating an antelope that he had caught. This caused Brond to exile him from the pride.[2]
Defeat by Mruki[]
A year later, Brond and his pride ran into a full-grown Mruki, who challenged Brond to a fight. In the ensuing battle, Mruki defeated Brond and thus became the new king of the pride. After the defeat, Brond fled and began to live with two of his old friends.[2]
Reunion with Rego[]
After Rego became the leader of his own pride, he ran into Brond and his two friends. The three older lions taught Rego how to fight, which allowed him to defeat Mruki and become the king of his former pride.[2]
Personality and traits[]
Brond is authoritative, powerful, and strong-willed. He adheres strictly to tradition and does not tolerate insubordination, as seen when he exiled a rebellious Mruki from his pride. Brond is also a talented fighter and was able to train his son, Rego, to defeat Mruki in combat.[2]
