Bobbi JG Weiss is a multimedia writer and editor. She, alongside David Weiss, wrote episodes of The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa. She also wrote Disney Adventures comics based on the show as well as the comic book adaptation of The Lion King.

Bobbi, alongside David, has been a freelance writer for many years, having worked on various forms of media such as online games, books, interactive eBooks for kids, comic books and graphic novels, magazine articles, interviews, and more. The Weiss' have sold about every form of writing, from Star Trek novels to LensCrafter ads and from Pirates of the Caribbean Online MMO to self-published novels.[1]

Having been educated at University of California, Bobbi received qualifications for successful collaboration in creation for major games and MMOs, animation, articles, ghostwriting, and more. Her genres in writing include comedy, action-adventure, fantasy, SF, horror, parody, and edutainment. She also led eight educational writing workshops and seminars to groups of 10 to 200 adults and teens at writing conventions in the Los Angeles School District Author Festivals and local libraries.[2]

Bobbi received several awards and recognition. She was featured in the November 13, 2017 Publisher's Weekly article about professional tie-in writers and in 2003, she was listed in the New York Times Children's Bestseller, as well as USA Today Bestseller. She also wrote a biz ed game series called Hot Shot Business with Disney Online for The Kaufman Foundation. The game received Parents' Choice Gold Award & Best Education Web Site.[2]
