You harm one hair on her head...and Simba will have our heads.
Timon to a vulture, on Kiara[src]

Birds of a Feather is a comic inspired by The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. It was published in November of 1998, as part of that month's issue of Disney Adventures.

Synopsis

Timon attempts to teach Kiara how to survive in the wild, but she becomes distracted by a vulture, whom she begs to chase her. Despite Timon's warnings, Kiara brushes him off. The vulture then attacks Timon, and its mother sweeps Kiara away in her talons, carrying her to a high nest.

Timon and Pumbaa launch a rescue mission, in which Timon warns the mother vulture to let Kiara go or the situation will end badly for her. The vulture refuses, and Pumbaa releases a cloud of gas into her face, blowing off all her feathers.

The three escape to safety, where Kiara asks to be taught Pumbaa's trick. A disturbed Timon wonders how he will explain this to Kiara's father, Simba.
