| “ | Pumbaa: Gee, Timon, do you really think we'll ever find Big Bug Valley? Timon: I hope so! Legend says the bugs there are so big, each one is a meal unto itself. |
” |
Big Bug Valley (also known as the Valley of Big Bugs) is a valley in the jungle. Timon describes it as the deepest, darkest, and most unexplored-able part of the jungle.
Best friends Timon and Pumbaa followed a map to Big Bug Valley, where they were attacked by several large grubs. Before they could be harmed, a colony of bees led by Buzz saved their lives and brought them to the colony's beehive. There, the duo turned the bees against their queen, only to then cause the beehive to fall into disrepair. Queen Bee agreed to return and help her colony, but only if they banished Timon and Pumbaa. The bees consequently loaded Timon and Pumbaa into a large net and catapulted them far from the colony's territory.
History[]
Two best friends named Timon and Pumbaa set out in search of Big Bug Valley. Along the way, Pumbaa questioned if they would ever find it, to which Timon remarked that he hoped so. He added that, according to legend, the grubs in Big Bug Valley were gargantuan.
Buzz and his fellow bees rescue Timon and Pumbaa from a giant praying mantis in Big Bug Valley.
Shortly afterwards, the duo found Big Bug Valley, only to be attacked by several large grubs. As a giant praying mantis threatened to eat them, a colony of bees led by Buzz saved their lives. The bees then brought the duo to their beehive, where Queen Bee put them to work.
Over time, because of Timon and Pumbaa's influence, the bees exiled Queen Bee and hailed the duo as their new kings. However, under Timon and Pumbaa's reign, the colony fell into disrepair, and the bees turned to Queen Bee for help. She agreed to return, but only if the colony pledged their loyalty to her, took the cost out of their health benefits, and banished Timon and Pumbaa. The bees were quick to obey her, loading Timon and Pumbaa into a net and catapulting them far from the colony's territory.[1]
