Beba is a young cheetah who lived in the Pride Lands during Simba's reign. He became acquainted with Afua during childhood, and the two became fast friends, leaving Kopa behind to feel jealous and lonely.
Afua's fast-growing friendship with Beba causes Kopa to go to Timon and Pumbaa for advice. The young cub tells his friends that Afua has been spending more and more time with Beba and has started comparing the cheetah cub to Kopa. In order to sort out the problem, Timon and Pumbaa tell him a story about their time in the jungle with Simba. After the story, Kopa scampers off to make amends with Afua.
