Beau Black is a composer, instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter who composed the music for The Lion Guard. He also voices Nne.


Black launched his musical career in his hometown of New York City, where he performed at concerts with his esteemed father, Jay Black, a member of the successful 1960s group, Jay and the Americans.[1] At the age of twelve, he began dabbling in songwriting.

His first original album, Meant to Be, was released in 2008, prompting a lively response from film and television spots. Currently, he is working for Disney on songs for television shows such as Miles from Tomorrowland and Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.[1]
