Poa the Destroyer[]
When Beshte went to check on the residents of the Tree of Life, Astuto spotted his approach and recognized him as the rumored menace "Poa." She hid and witnessed Beshte accidentally running over and destroying her den. Pinguino reported this incident to Baliyo and Rani. Later, when Beshte attempted to befriend Astuto, she fled from him. However, after Beshte's name was cleared by Pinguino, Astuto cheered him on with the other animals at the Tree of Life.[2]
Janna's death[]
Astuto gathered with other animals outside the Tree of Life as its queen, Janna, lay dying. When her death was announced, Astuto reacted with sadness. Later, she attended the coronation of Janna's granddaughter, Rani.[3]

Cubs in peril[]
A tree fell on top of Astuto's den, blocking it up and trapping one of her cubs inside. Astuto watched anxiously as Kion and Rani removed the tree from her den and rescued the cub. Once all three of her cubs were safe, Astuto nuzzled them.[1]
