Alexs Stadermann is an animator whose contributions to animation have included several Disney leading or title characters, such as Rafiki and Timon from The Lion King 1½.
In his early years as an animator, Stadermann worked as a visual effects animator, working on films such as An American Tail: Fievel Goes West and The Magic Voyage. He served as special effects supervisor for several Disney television shows, among them The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa, and has animated numerous Disney original films and sequels.
Stadermann is perhaps best known for his work as an animator on Disney sequels. Most notably, he is praised for animating Jane from Return to Never Land and Anastasia from Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. In recent times, Stadermann has branched out to tackle bigger projects, such as directing his own animated films.
